COMMUNITY POLICY

We at BEINIT Group of Companies will always set out to build enduring relationships with our neighbours. Relationships that are characterised by mutual respect, active partnership and long-term commitment.

Good management of community relationships is as necessary to our business success as the management of our operations. Good performance requires all BEINIT Group of Companies personnel to accept responsibility for community relationships.

We will detail local arrangements in our community plans which are then integrated into the locations or projects operational planning and updated annually. The plans are set within the context of this policy and apply throughout the life cycles of our activities.

Mutual respect depends on our understanding the issues that are important to our neighbours and our neighbours understanding what is important to us. Wherever we operate, we do our best to accommodate the different cultures, lifestyles, heritage and preferences of our neighbours, particularly in areas where industrial development is little known. Our communities and environment work is closely coordinated and takes account of peoples’ perceptions of the effects and consequences of our activities.

We promote active partnerships at international, national, regional and local levels. These are based on mutual commitment, trust and openness. Our relationships with communities involve consultation to open new facilities, to run existing ones and to close them at the end of their productive lives. In doing so, we support community-based projects that can make a difference in a sustainable way without creating dependency. We also assist regional development, training and employment opportunities.

The BEINIT Energy is a leading integrated Oil & Gas service provider, capable of delivering solutions for Renewable Energy, Infrastructure development, Engineering and EPC contracting, Equipment supply and support services for the Oil & Gas industry.

Our commitment to our people and the community within which we work is continual improvement of the environmental management system based on ISO 14001:2015 and enhance environmental performance to prevent any damage or adverse effects to the environment resulting from our business activities.

Strong environmental performance is a major component to the ongoing success and growth of our company. A key part of our business strategy and operating methods is the commitment to reduce our environmental impacts and continually improve our environmental performance.

We will manage natural resources in a responsible manner ensuring minimal wastage to these valuable assets and develop work processes that identify and reduce waste as a priority.
We will:

  • Promote prevention of pollution, support conservation and recycling, create environmental awareness amongst employees and encourage employees to work in an environmentally friendly manner;
  • Influence our vendors with our approach towards responsible environmental practices;
  • Operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation, client requirements, community expectations and voluntary commitments to protect the environment; and
  • Ensure that environmental objectives and targets, aspects and impacts to assist in meeting our environmental commitments are developed, monitored and reviewed on an ongoing basis

Continue to learn and enact sustainable solutions from the mistakes of ourselves or others as well as seek out best practice within our scope of work.

 

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

BEINIT Energy is a leading integrated Oil & Gas service provider, capable of delivering solutions for the Renewable Energy, Infrastructure development, Engineering and EPC contracting, Equipment supply and support services for the Oil & Gas industry.

BEINIT Energy is committed to providing a workplace with safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health and is considered acceptable based on ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety.

Our goal is to achieve a Safe Day – Every day for all stakeholders within our business. To this aim BEINIT Energy will:

Demonstrate leadership
All levels of Management and Supervisors will provide leadership by ensuring all work activities are undertaken with the health, safety and wellbeing of all persons being paramount and effectively managed in the process.

Empower our people through consultation and participation
Ensure that every person working at BEINIT Energy is given the opportunity for consultation and participation in all aspects of OHS management system in place. This includes appointment of workers representative, everyone taking personal responsibility for their actions and ensuring that the BEINIT Energy Health & Safety Management System is followed. Reporting of hazards, incidents and near misses assists us in controlling workplace risks and is a requirement of every individual.

Establish robust OH&S systems objectives
Ensure all employees are trained in the relevant requirements of our OHS management system. We will work with employees to develop and implement effective OHS strategies that manage our risk profile, eliminate hazards and reduce risks.

Strive for Continual improvement
Constantly look for initiatives to continually improve our OHS Management System by monitoring, reviewing and updating our objectives, targets and goals across the business.

Ensure compliance
Comply with relevant legislative obligations without question to ensure the safety and health of all persons associated with our business activities including employees, sub-contractors, clients, members of the public and the community at large.

  • Enhance the quality, productivity and efficiency of our business systems, project work and maintain the highest standards of innovation and technical leadership;
  • Set measurable Quality objectives to continually improve the quality of service we offer;
  • Promote an organizational culture that is committed to quality output by effective communication of this management system, associated procedures and this policy;
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory and legal requirements in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and our own Quality Management System;
  • Continually improve the effectiveness of our Quality Management System and the effectiveness of our quality system is monitored by planned audits, management reviews and customer satisfaction surveys to ensure quality service delivery; and

Implementation

This Quality Policy Statement shall be displayed prominently and access to detailing procedures will be available on the premises for reference by any employee.

 

RISK MANAGEMENT POLICY

We at BEINIT Group of Companies believe that dealing with risk effectively is a source of sustainable business benefit and competitive advantage and improves the confidence of all stakeholders associated with our activities in our ability to meet our strategic and business objectives. It is an integral part of how we protect and create value and is fundamental to our business success.

Our approach to risk recognises this and reflects the importance of leaders from line through to executive management retaining ownership of risk management in each part of the business. The responsibility for identifying and managing risks lies with all BEINIT Group of Companies line/executive managers and business leaders who operate within a Group-wide framework that ensures risks are managed within agreed thresholds.

We foster and strongly encourage a risk-aware culture in all decision-making on all business matters and are committed to managing risk in a proactive and effective manner. We support this with an integrated framework of risk governance and reporting, we analyse risk in order to make informed management decisions taken at all levels in the organisation and we take appropriate action to deal with those risks that exceed the thresholds that can be tolerated for our objectives.
